Finally. Caina is with the man she should always have been with. As always, too, it comes, at last, with lots of angst, and muddled thinking. Saving the world seems to always get in the way. This book may be my favorite of all of them (and not just because I can stop complaining about how looonnnggg it took for Caina and Kylon to take that step.
I'm still awestruck at the way that Moeller can think these stories up. His bad guys are as bad as it gets. No shades of grey anywhere near Caina and her allies. However, this book is different. All the characters experience great character growth, and we're treated to much more depth than previously. Though I'm addicted to this series, I have to admit that Caina, and all the rest, have often been very one-dimensional. That is changing, and it's thrilling. (It's also a bit scary, because when you start getting answers in this type of series, it usually means that the author is wrapping things up. I NEVER want this story to end.)
This book is also distinguished by the nature of the danger Caina finds herself in. It's the worst ever. I really thought I'd thought of every possible scenario that would result in her surviving this one, but gave up. The climactic scenes are so complicated that I had to read them several times to understand what was being done. I was pretty confident that Moeller wasn't going to kill her off, but I couldn't see how she was going to survive a mortal wound to the heart, and then bleeding out during a horrific explosion that destroys everything for blocks. Only in these books would I believe it.
Moeller has seemingly, with this book, also breathed new life into the story. Caina is fundamentally changed, both physically and mentally now. She also has a relationship with a real protector. (Corvallis was never this strong.) I also have hopes that perhaps the Elixir that saved her life and restored her body may have restored ALL her organs. Maybe we'll get some little Kylons running around
I'm almost certainly preaching to the choir here, since those of us who are still invested after the dozens of books and novellas will never leave. Happily, Moeller is a fast writer, so there are no GRR Martin or Gabaldon waiting times. But, I'm still going to say again "BUY THIS BOOK". Buy all of them. You'll never get enough.

Ghost in the Seal Ghost Exile #6 eBook Jonathan Moeller Reviews
It's been awhile since I came across an author that was able to keep a series flowing as well continuing to develop the characters.
Another excellent entry in the series. Heart pounding action, as Caina and crew take on old and new foes. I don't know how much longer the series can continue since it seems everyone of the villainous type, knows Caina's identity. I'll leave it to Mr. Moeller to continue to surprise us. I'm sure we will not be disappointed.
I can't really explain!!! These books, this author, and ALL the POINT OF VIEWS are incredible. I thought the Inferno would hard to overcome but Moeller just has a knack to give a bit more in every book!!!! If u are looking for a series to start, then start. Some many books but it won't take long to catch up!!!
Keeping to the series, this book is a can't put down, page turning , i can't wait to see what happens next, kick a## book. No matter what book you start with the author kind of gives a back story here and there. You can keep with the flow without being lost in the story. It all works well.
Caina sets on her most dangerous mission yet. She is surrounded by six capable and driven companions. The enemy however is coming close to guessing each move before she makes it. The Red Huntress in her stolen ghost cloak may yet get her wish. But will Caina even live to escape Pyramid Island?
Caina and the slowly expanding gang (Nasser, et al) continue to battle numerous foes against all odds to stop the Apotheosis. Fast paced with an occasional bit of romance to allow the reader to catch his or breath, this book follows the very successful formula that the author has used for the entire series. After plunging to the depths of despair, this book ends on a very slightly more hopeful note than some of the immediately previous books in the series.
This is the best novel yet in the Ghost series, although we are getting dangerously close t what I alluded to in a previous review the heroine as ittle less than a demi-goddess, incapable of failing, able to survive through any situation (even death!), yet making scant progress in her mission, as she keeps getting sidetracked by one peripheral plot or horror after another. Of course, this is a reasonable rendering of normal life -- in that sense, the series of Ghost novels reads more like a journal than like separate novels -- but then again nothing in these stories is "normal"...
What makes it the best novel yet is thus not the plot -- a variation similar to most of the other novels in the series (although with its own surprises, of course) -- but the fact that the authors keeps improving as a writer. He started with nifty ideas, but very poor storytelling skills -- the first few novels were sustained by ideas, not by character development, interesting descriptions, style, or any other literary attributes. By now, the author has become a competent storyteller, with a much better sense of pacing, a more diverse (through still limited) range of interests, and a less caricatural approach to character development. His real villains remain interchangeable, amorphous blobs of pure evil, but the other characters are better graded into shades. Humor remains conspicuously absent, though, both in the book and in the heroine; and while the heroine, given what she has been going through, is perhaps justifiably humorless, the books would be better with a sprinkling of humor.
Conclusion If you liked the previous Ghost books, you will love this one -- it really is the best of them. If you thought the Ghosts books were poorly written pulp fiction, this effort will probably not suffice to change your mind.
